When our client took us through her barn to help explore the potential for a new space, the upstairs jumped out right away as a place with great potential. The main stain glass window had been broken for some time so a large family of bats had taken up residence upstairs along with some other birds and creatures. After clearing the room we got to work re-framing the opening for new windows, adding rigid foam insulation to the roof and windows and finally finishing the inside with tongue and groove boards along with a custom built-in closet and work desk.

The homeowner is an art teacher that now offers art classes here in her new studio space.
